Unbeknownst to most people, the room lighting isn’t only for decoration; it gives effects to when you sleep and the amount of brainpower you use. So, you’ll want your home to have the proper lighting in every room, mainly because it’s where a significant portion of your life is spent.

Reading about what task lighting is really helped me understand what we are currently missing in our home. This feels like something we should have been making use of a long time ago, and only now have I realized how poorly illuminated some parts of our home are. I'll use this idea when I work with an electrician in the area to give our house a completely illuminated design.
